The Official Report from gaming websites Wow, now people are posting on forums, including Gamespot and the official US Playstation Website, about error 80010514. Apparently, the error shows up instead of the loading screen to their favorite video games. Game Revolver called Sony Support and was told that, "The code is not common, and a simple reset of the system and restoral of factory settings should do the trick." Steriotyp, the writer, said that this failed to fix the error, which he or she was told is caused by one of two things: a faulty sector on the internal hard drive or a faulty installation of software or firmware. The articles gives advice on how to avoid the problem. This include ensuring that the Internet connection is stable, dusting the system regularly, and following instructions on how to install the software and firmware step by step. However other users seem to have received the error after mistakenly installing firmware meant for another region. When Gamespot UK contacted Sony Europe to ask about the issue, a spokesperson said that, "I've spoken to our customer-services department, and they aren't aware of this issue with the PS3." My opinion I think that all of this has being caused by stupid people who don't bother to read. The truth is, is it really the companies fault if people don't pay attention? How the heck does someone accidentally install software from another region on their systems? The problem with this is not the consoles that have being damaged, but the number of M$ fanboys that are gonna come over and claim to get the error. The Xbox 360's "Red Ring of Death" is fact, but I think this isn't actually a problem with the system, but with careless customers that couldn't read. Don't worry PS3 owners, I'm sure that your systems are gonna be fine. |

| Apparently, a special and downgraded version of GTA IV is going to be released in Australia. The series have had prior problems with Australia when the game rating exceeded the maximum rating of MA15+. Smart move on Rockstar's side. The games had been removed off of shelves because of the Hot Coffee scandal. |
